UGent and ArcelorMittal are looking for a Scientific Researcher
As part of a research project of the Department of Industrial Management of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences and Architecture with the company ArcelorMittal in Zelzate, we have an immediate opening for a Scientific Researcher. It is a contract for 2 years, but this can be extended. The salary is based on the UGent scales, but can be adjusted based on specific knowledge and experience of the candidate.

Partnership between Ghent University and BI Svanova results in the launch of a new ELISA-kit
PROVAXS-Ghent University has concluded a partnership agreement with the Swedish veterinary diagnostic company, Boehringer Ingelheim Svanova for the commercial launch of a new ELISA kit. The ELISA was developed at the Laboratory of Parasitology of Professor Jozef Vercruysse at Ghent University.
UGent enters framework agreement with Procter & Gamble
Procter & Gamble has concluded framework agreements with the universities of Ghent and Leuven. In this way the company wants to lift its successful open innovation policy, called “Connect + Develop”, to a higher level. These new agreements should enable innovative ideas to be realized quicker and more efficient, in order to yield a higher benefit to all parties.
